I had the most incredible experience staying at Titicaca Lodge. Julio and his family, who are native to the floating island, made this stay unique and unforgettable. The personalized tours, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, and stunning views truly exceeded all expectations. The food was delicious and Julio was a gracious and accommodating host. This is by far the best Uro experience I could have asked for.
Can recommend this hotel.

Loved the rustic and authentic adventure, with generous hosts who were helpful from the beginning. The tour of the Uros Islands was fascinating, and we also enjoyed the reed boat tour. Interacting with the family was a charming experience, and the breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca from our terrace were unforgettable. The meals were delicious, and the option to purchase wine/beer was a nice touch. The whole experience was peaceful and off the grid.
Can't think of any negatives or worst aspects, as everything was just as indicated in the photos. The room was perfect, with a lovely terrace and a magical view.

Had a fantastic xmas at this lodge. The accommodations were impressive and cozy, perfect for the chilly nights. The owner and his family were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. The guided tours around the lake were a great addition, giving us the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious and always well-prepared. We also loved the stunning sunset views from the deck, it was truly unforgettable.
Although the lodge was a bit expensive compared to other places in Peru, we understand that the unique amenities and location contribute to the cost. It was a bit far from town, making it difficult to access other activities.

I absolutely adored the charming and traditional decor of the hotel. From the cozy armchairs to the beautiful furnishings in earthy tones, it truly felt like a home away from home. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's general areas to be easily accessible, making it comfortable for me to move around and explore.
Only wish there were more activities geared towards senior guests.

The food was delicious, and the family was very friendly. We enjoyed the unique experience of staying on a reed island and walking on the reeds. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely breathtaking. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The eco-friendly toilet with peat instead of water was a funny and interesting feature. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm enough. The breakfast was good and satisfying.
There was no 220 volt in the room, but we were able to ask the family to charge our batteries. Despite this minor inconvenience, everything else was amazing.

On my recent trip, I had the once in a lifetime experience of staying at Titicaca Lodge Peru. I was blown away by the beautiful floating island and the incredible views of Lake Titicaca. The room was spacious, with a huge bed and a bathroom with a hot shower. Despite the limitations of limited solar power and no other utilities, the facilities were amazing. The hosts, Armando and his family, were incredibly welcoming and offered a range of activities and trips. I felt like I was living with them and learning about their culture. During our stay at Lake Titicaca Lodge Peru, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the tranquil atmosphere. The family that owns the lodge was incredibly attentive and made us feel like part of their family. The upgraded king suite we stayed in was absolutely beautiful, with a private balcony and stunning views of the lake and the Andes. The food served at the lodge was delicious, although it could have been better. The highlight of our stay was the tour of the Uros Islands, where we learned about the history of the people and witnessed the fascinating process of building a floating island. Interacting with the family and their nephews was a charming experience. The peaceful oasis and the mesmerizing views of Lake Titicaca made our stay truly unforgettable. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the dry toilet and limited vegetarian options, our overall experience at the lodge was exceptional. I highly recommend Lake Titicaca Lodge Peru for anyone seeking an incredible and authentic living experience.
